ashley macy, Amft, APCC

Ashley Macy is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor in private practice in Mill Valley and San Francisco.  Ashley’s practice and experience includes supporting children 7+, adolescents and adults. Ashley works with individuals, couples, families, and groups through integrative counseling modalities, both in-school and home-based, as well as community oriented mental health settings and private practice.

Ashley engages with clients navigating symptomology related but not limited to mood dysregulation; identify affirmation and exploration; neurodivergence; overwhelm; substance use; life transitions; grief, loss and bereavement; as well as relationship dynamics.

 Ashley’s therapeutic approach is insight-oriented, client-centered, collaborative, culturally humble and trauma-informed. Through this work, clients often discover new ways of attuning to themselves and those around them, as well as skillful new approaches to the obstacles in their lives. Ashley’s training is broad-based and integrative; she draws upon Cognitive and Dialectical Behavioral Therapies, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy techniques, Somatic Focusing practices and Internal Family Systems approaches.

Ashley offers remote sessions to clients in California and in-person therapy to clients in Mill Valley.
